Today is the peak of transformative energy that has already and will continue to ripple out for the next month. Today the New Moon nestles into Libra as it dances in front of the sun, eclipsing it fully at 3:03 pm UTC. 🌅 Libra is often depicted as the greek goddess Themis, she is blindfolded and unbiased, holds the sword of justice and the scales for balance and harmony. 🙈🗡️⚖️ Libra is a fixed sign, marking the change of of a season, this is the first New Moon after the Autumn Equinox; so Persephone the goddess of the Underworld and the bringer of Spring walks with Themis. Together bringing us the energy of balanced transformation and renewal. Libra rules the 7th house is astrology so often represents relationships and partnerships. Ruled by the element of air Libra is ever changing, bringing swift movement as well as a rejuvenation of our very life force, our breath. The New Moon and Solar Eclipse both signify the end of a cycle and new beginnings, so the energy is amplified meaning it is a powerful time for setting new intentions. Following Friday the 13th a day of divine feminine energy, it reminds us to nurture ourselves, be open to receiving and slow down. When we rest we allow our mind, body and spirit to receive huge transformation! Eclipses are a time for ultimate self care. The Moon represents our emotions and the Sun the very core of who we are and our self expression, as the moon casts it shadow over the sun it serves as a cosmic reminder to reflect and delve into the inner self. Two of MANY Reiki Circle vibes 🤣 I felt called to share some of my personal journalling from some of the Reiki Circles I’ve taken part of in the past few months. Distance Reiki Circles are a beautiful way to sit in a safe, sacred space where you feel confident to crack your heart and mind wide open! Too often we silence our own voice, bottle up our feelings and shove them deep, deep down just so we can get through the day. That day turns into a week, a month, a year, a lifetime… suddenly years later we are paying ££££ for therapy working through things we’ve stored up for years, or worse still not facing things and making ourselves physically ill. Part of the reason I left my previous 9-5 job is because I was constantly in survival mode, moving through life with ADHD and SO MUCH emotional dysregulation all the time, I wanted more space to be able to feel my emotions and move through them. I don’t think I’d have lasted as long as I did without all the distance Reiki Circles I’ve attended over the last 2 years… I wouldn’t have experienced some of the best relationships of my life, faced new challenges and grown so much if I’d left that job sooner than I did 🪴 Reiki Circles gave me so much more than just an hour of healing, they had a ripple effect. Reiki energy healing ignites your own inner life force, it shifts stuck energy so that your mind, body and soul have more space to heal themselves. At 4:44 am this morning, I was in a state of uncontrollable joy. Hanging out of my top room window, looking at Orion hanging in the sky for the first time in months. In preparation for tomorrow’s ceremony, I have been devoted to the idea of getting up to witness Sirius in the physical, to honour it’s heliacal rise and express gratitude for the energies of abundance it carries for us to anchor into. I packed far too much for one person to carry up a hill and I was surrounded by hungry, nipping bugs the whole time; from when I reached the peak, watching and waiting for Sirius to fade away and the sun rise in the East. I flitted between frustration and gratitude, distraction and presence, disappointment at unmet expectation and pride in seeing my plan through. My business is built on a love for the duality of life; as above, so below, of the universe, of the soul, as is reflected in its name. The key to mastering this duality is trust and surrender, to apply patience through a deep knowing that each step you take is divinely guided. Not easy when we live in a world ruled by instant gratification. The worst part about this morning was the bugs. No amount of incense smoke, hiding in my dressing gown or spiritual protection would move them onto a new target. I attempted breathwork to calm my nervous system and sensory overload, focused on the joy of being able to see the phase of Venus and the moons of Jupiter through my binoculars but they were relentless. How did I flow through it? I trusted that by the end of the day, their lesson would be revealed… Last week when I decided to move my ceremony, despite a deep desire to intertwine the energies of Sirius’ Rise and the Blue Supermoon in Pisces, I trusted that the reason would be revealed… My intention for tomorrow is that each soul who is called will lean into that trust. Knowing that you are meant to be here in this moment, that your heart will bring forward the messages you need and that you carry the magic of the stars within you. Curious? A super blue what now?! We currently have a Blue, Supermoon in Pisces, but what does this actually mean? The full moon is the culmination of the cycle. It calls us to reflect, celebrate our achievements, and release. A super moon is when this celestial body is closest to Earth, shining more light to uncover deeper shadows. It’s currently 17,000 miles closer to Earth than normal! A blue moon is when we have two full moons in the same month. This is to both show us and support us in releasing something BIG! This happens every 2/3 years. With this special crossover of a blue and Supermoon we are supported to take a leap of faith. Choosing to sit in the ethereal and spiritual sign of Pisces, we are really being called to look back at all the lessons we have learnt and embody them fully! It is the “I believe” aspect of ourselves. So what can you do to harness this unique mixture of lunar energy? 🌀 lay your crystals out by a window, to be cleansed and charged (even if it’s cloudy this will still work!) 🍶 Make some moon water, fill up some spare bottles and leave them out by a window. 🌊 Spend some time by the water.
